Restorative Treatment

Any procedure that aims to restore the normal function and appearance of your smile falls under the umbrella of restorative care.

Our dentists can help restore your smile – and your oral health – by repairing structural problems and treating damaged or missing teeth.

After assessing your medical needs, the dentists will determine the restorative treatment option that is right for you.

Root Canal Therapy

Blatt Family Dentistry offers a range of restorative dental services including fillings, bridges, crowns, dentures and more at our dental clinic. We also have our own onsite dental lab to make turn around times more efficient.

Root Canals

During a root canal, your dentist removes diseased blood vessels, nerves and tissues from the interior of a damaged tooth. Your dentist may recommend removing the decay and bacteria to help halt the spread of infection and hopefully prevent the need for an extraction. In some cases where the Root Canal procedure becomes complicated, a specialist referral will be recommended.

Full or Partial Dentures

Dentures constitute a full jaw of artificial teeth or partial jaw of artificial teeth. Full dentures help allow patients with missing teeth to talk and eat properly with minimized inconvenience while maintaining their natural facial structure. With our onsite dental lab, and highly trained technician’s dentures are made onsite.

Dental Crowns

Crowns are small caps made of porcelain or other durable materials that are placed on top of teeth to restore their function and appearance. Crowns are used to attach bridges, cover dental implants or prevent a cracked tooth from worsening. They can also help to restore a discoloured or stained tooth to its natural appearance.

Dental Bridges

Bonded to existing teeth or dental implants, bridges are natural-looking tooth replacements that are used to replace a section of missing teeth. Because they are custom-made, bridges are barely noticeable and can restore the natural contour of teeth and the bite between our patients' upper and lower teeth.

Inlays & Onlays

Inlays and onlays are tooth-coloured porcelain fillings. They're used to repair cavities when the damage is too extensive for a standard dental filling. They are custom-made in a dental laboratory prior to being permanently cemented to the tooth as one piece.

Dental Fillings

At Blatt Family dentistry, we use tooth-coloured composite fillings to repair cavities or tooth damage. These fillings can withstand the pressures of chewing and regular mouth use, making them ideal for filling cracks and preventing further damage.

My wife and I came to Blatt maybe twenty years ago, after frustration at other practises. The draw was that BFD had remained firmly planted in the same location with the same small roster of dentists and administrative staff for decades.Elsewhere, we were seen by a new dentist or hygienist every visit, always having to re-explain any issues or concerns. It was frustrating and pointless.Blatt was —and remains— the opposite. It’s stable; everyone who works there is kind; they are wonderful with children; and while they are nothing if not proactive and professional, they don’t push unnecessary procedures. I've been going here since I was a kid. From then to now the staff have always been consistently welcoming, warm, and helpful! The dental hygienists and doctors are extremely professional yet kind and non-judgemental. They always explain to me what they are looking at/for during appointments so I'm well informed of my teeth health! I've had cavities, a root canal, a night guard made (really everything under the sun) and I've always been happy with the service. The office is modern, clean, and every room has a TV where you can choose your desired show/movie! I would highly recommend Blatt Family Dentistry to anyone looking for a dentist!
